Each day she would drop Hope off at school and take Matt to the Stewart house to tag items for storage and other items to be moved to her home. The first thing she brought home was the Stewart Family photo album. this was the biggest tie the children would have to their parents and they must never be allowed to forget them. She found Gordon's and Ruth Ann's wedding photograph and had copies printed to go on the children's dressers so that they would see their parents each morning when the woke up.
At night after the children were asleep she would lay back on the sofa with the music softly playing, a glass of wine in her hand, and review in her mind the events of her early life. She remembered the day Gordon and she'd enrolled at Western. To say they had been overwhelmed was to put it mildly. The Freshman class was so large that the orientation class had to be split into two sessions. The lines at the book store had been so long that they were each convinced they'd never get their necessary books and supplies.
